This scrapbook is a self-published work that documents John F. Kennedy’s political career from the perspective of the volume’s creator, 1960 presidential campaign volunteer, founder of the Allen Dental Medical Corporation, and Kennedy family friend, Frank Allen Orofino (known professionally as Frank Allen). A limited number of copies of the scrapbook were made for President Kennedy’s family, friends, and associates; the full list of recipients is included at the end of the scrapbook. An original typed inscription taped to the inside front free endpaper reads, “Dedicated in gratitude to Mr. & Mrs. Joseph P. Kennedy and Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy who shared with this country and the world John Fitzgerald Kennedy." The handwritten inscription in black ink below the typed inscription reads, "In friendship to Mr. & Mrs. Joseph P. Kennedy / Frank Allen Orofino / Vol I / '68." A typed preface written by Orofino is also included. The scrapbook contains materials related to President Kennedy’s United States Senate career, his 1960 presidential campaign, and his presidency. It contains facsimiles of correspondence between Orofino and members of the Kennedy family, including Senator (later President) John F. Kennedy; First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy; Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.; Eunice Kennedy Shriver; Patricia "Pat" Kennedy Lawford; Robert F. "Bob" Kennedy and Ethel Skakel Kennedy; and Edward M. "Ted" Kennedy. It also contains facsimiles of correspondence between Orofino and various associates of the President and First Lady, including the President’s personal secretary, Evelyn Lincoln; Jacqueline Kennedy’s personal secretary, Mary Gallagher; campaign aide and later Special Assistant to the President, Lawrence “Larry” O'Brien; White House housekeeper Anne Lincoln; White House Secret Service agent, John J. "Muggsy" O'Leary; Governor of Florida, Farris Bryant; Boston Secret Service agent, Frank V. McDermott; and Kennedy family financial advisor, Thomas J. Walsh. Photographs are accompanied by facsimiles of Orofino’s handwritten captions and notations. Those pictured in photographs include President and Mrs. Kennedy; Caroline Kennedy; John F. Kennedy, Jr.; Joseph, Sr.; Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy; Patricia; Bob; Jean Kennedy Smith and Stephen E. Smith; Ted; Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson; Lady Bird Johnson; campaign aide and later White House Press Secretary, Pierre Salinger, and Nancy Joy Salinger; entertainer Frank Sinatra; Archbishop of New York, Cardinal Francis Spellman; Mary and Ray Gallagher and their children, Christopher and Gregory Gallagher; Larry O’Brien; secretary to then-Senator Kennedy and later Mrs. Kennedy’s Press Secretary, Pamela Turnure; presidential campaign manager and later special assistant to President Kennedy, Timothy J. “Ted” Reardon, Jr., and Betty Jane Reardon; John J. “Muggsy” O’Leary; Evelyn Lincoln; democratic politician and Chairman of the Board of the Coca-Cola Export Corporation, James A. “Jim” Farley, Sr.; democratic politician, Albert Benjamin "Happy" Chandler, Sr.; Kennedy family friend and former Boston Police Commissioner, Joseph F. Timilty; Governor of California, Edmund G. “Pat” Brown; Secretary of State, Dean Rusk; and various campaign and office staff members. Orofino also included photographs of himself and his family. Also pictured are presidential campaign items designed by Orofino, including a tie clip modeled after PT-109. Events pictured include the 1960 Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles, California; the Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C.; and the Inaugural Ball at the National Guard Armory in Washington, D.C. This scrapbook contains 115 photographic prints, 45 photocopied letters, five other printed items, and one oil painting reproduction.

This scrapbook, compiled by Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr., documents his education, travels, and family life from 1938 to 1941. The gold stamped title on the cover reads, "Scrap Book." It contains photographs of and printed ephemera related to trips to Europe in 1938 and 1939; his election as a Massachusetts delegate to the 1940 Democratic National Convention; his enrollment at Harvard Law School in 1940; and time spent with family and friends at the Kennedy family residence in Palm Beach, Florida, and on trips to St. Moritz, Switzerland, and the French Riviera, including at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France. Other destinations pictured in photographic prints and postcards include Mexico, Spain, Poland, Ireland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, and California. Of note are photographs of the Argelès-sur-Mer concentration camp for Republican refugees in Argelès-sur-Mer, France, which Joe, Jr., visited before touring Spain in the final months of the Spanish Civil War, as well as a photograph of Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy christening the Esso Richmond, a new tanker ship, alongside her parents, John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald and Mary Josephine Hannon Fitzgerald, and her daughter, Eunice Kennedy. Printed ephemera pasted into the scrapbook include invitations to various parties, receptions, luncheons, dinners, weddings, meetings, and banquets, including an event at Buckingham Palace; fliers for discussions, rallies, and debates featuring Joe, Jr., that were held by organizations including College Men for Defense First, Brotherhood of Temple Ohabei Shalom, and the Young Democrats of Massachusetts; Spanish paper currency; and telegrams regarding political events and rallies sent by representatives of both State and National Democratic Committees. Other Kennedy family members and friends pictured in photographs and clippings include Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.; John F. Kennedy; Rosemary Kennedy; Kathleen Kennedy; Patricia Kennedy; Robert F. Kennedy; Jean Kennedy; Edward M. Kennedy; Torbert Macdonald; Hugh Fraser; Tom Killefer; Tom Egerton; and Diana Maria Gerli. Loose materials include a photographic postcard from Sofia, Bulgaria and Shawmut Bank promotional material, possibly a bookmark. The scrapbook contains 133 photographic prints (including a contact print of a strip of three 35mm black and white negatives, and one photo fragment); 32 photographic postcards; and 62 pieces of ephemera, including invitations, correspondence, telegrams, tickets, newspaper clippings, calling cards, advertisements, programs, and fliers.

This photograph album, compiled by Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy, documents the lives of the Kennedy family from 1925 to 1937. The gold stamped title on the cover reads, “Photographs.” Photographs capture their home life at their primary residences in Brookline, Massachusetts, and Bronxville, New York; time spent with family and friends at their secondary residences in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, and Palm Beach, Florida; and other travels and events. The album also contains numerous portrait photos. Those pictured in photographs include Rose; her husband, Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Sr.; her children, Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr., John F. “Jack” Kennedy, Rosemary Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy, Eunice Kennedy, Patricia Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, Jean Kennedy, and Edward M. Kennedy; her parents, John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald and Mary Josephine Hannon Fitzgerald; her sister, Agnes Fitzgerald, and brother-in-law, Joseph Francis Gargan, Sr.; governess to the Kennedy children, Alice Cahill; nanny to the Kennedy children, Katherine Conboy; and family friends, Viscountess Nancy Astor, Kirk LeMoyne “Lem” Billings, and Mary O’Keefe. Of note are photographs of Rose and Joe, Sr., aboard the S.S. Aquitania during their voyage to New York City from Europe in 1928; the wedding of Agnes and Joseph Gargan; Joe, Jr., and Jack with their football teams at the Dexter School in Brookline, Massachusetts; and Rose and Joe, Sr., with actor Fred Thomson and screenwriter Frances Marion in California. Original handwritten inscriptions are written in black ink and pencil on the versos of some photographs. This photograph album contains 81 photographic prints.

This photograph album was first compiled by Rosemary Kennedy as a birthday gift for her sister, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, in 1929, with later photographs added by Kathleen. The gold stamped title on the cover reads, “Photographs.” An original handwritten inscription on the inside front cover reads, "Kathleen, From Rose happy birthday Feb. 1929," in white ink. Original captions are written in white ink and pencil in both Rosemary’s and Kathleen’s hand. Photographs document the family life, travels, and social activities of the Kennedy family from 1927 to 1936. In addition to Rosemary (referred to as “Rose” in original captions) and Kathleen, those pictured include their parents, Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy; their siblings, Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr., John F. "Jack" Kennedy, Eunice Kennedy, Patricia "Pat" Kennedy, Jean Kennedy, and Edward M. "Ted/Teddy" Kennedy; their aunt, Agnes Fitzgerald Gargan, and her husband Joseph Francis Gargan, Sr.; governesses to the Kennedy children, Alice Cahill and Elizabeth Dunn; nanny to the Kennedy children, Katherine “Kikoo” Conboy; family friends, Edward E. “Eddie” Moore, Kirk LeMoyne “Lem” Billings, Mary O’Keefe, Mary Veronica “Von” Rice, and Mary Frances "Sancy" Falvey; and family dogs, Buddy and Skippy. Of note are photographs of Kennedy family members and friends at the family’s residences in Bronxville in New York, Hyannis Port in Massachusetts, and Palm Beach in Florida; a visit to the Hippodrome Theatre in New York City, where the children posed with a baby elephant; Joseph, Sr., and Rose with actor Fred Thomson and screenwriter Frances Marion in California; and Kathleen and other campers and counselors at Sargent Camp in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Other locations and historic sites featured in photographs include the White House and United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C.; the National Monument to the Forefathers and Plymouth Rock in Plymouth, Massachusetts; the Potomac River; and George Washington’s Mount Vernon estate in Virginia. Original handwritten inscriptions are written in blue ink and pencil on the versos of many photographs. This photograph album contains 154 photographic prints, two photographic postcards, and one contact print of a strip of four 35mm black and white negatives.
