This scrapbook, compiled by Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr., documents his education, travels, and family life between 1932 and 1938. The title on the cover reads, “Album.” The scrapbook contains photographs of and printed ephemera related to his studies at the London School of Economics (1933-1934) and Harvard University (1934-1938), as well as time spent with family and friends at the Kennedy family residences in Bronxville in New York, Palm Beach in Florida, and Hyannis Port in Massachusetts, and traveling in Europe. Destinations pictured include Switzerland, England, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Scotland, Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Bermuda, Georgia, and France. Of note are telegrams from Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy to their son; photographs of Joe, Jr., skiing with friends in Zermatt, Switzerland; two portrait cards from the Residenz Museum in Munich, Germany; photographic postcards featuring images of the 1934 performance of the Oberammergau Passion Play in Bavaria, Germany; an invitation from First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt to Joe, Jr., for an event at the White House; materials related to Joe, Jr.’s athletic career at Harvard, where he participated in football, swimming, and rugby, including photographs of the 1936 Bermuda Rugby Week competition; a Bermuda Islands court summons issued to “Joseph Kennedy” and dated March 30, 1936; and telegrams sent to Joe, Jr., for his birthday. Kennedy family members and friends pictured in photographs and clippings include Joseph, Sr.; Rose; John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald; John F. Kennedy; Rosemary Kennedy; Kathleen Kennedy; Eunice Kennedy; Patricia Kennedy; Robert F. Kennedy; Jean Kennedy; Edward M. Kennedy; Kirk LeMoyne “Lem” Billings; nanny to the Kennedy children, Katherine Conboy; Edward E. Moore and Mary Moore; Sir James Calder; and economist Harold Laski. Handwritten captions and inscriptions are written in blue and black ink on many of the leaves. This scrapbook contains 224 photographic prints (including three tintypes), 53 newspaper and magazine clippings, and 36 photographic postcards, as well as telegrams, letters, invitations, menus, tickets, picture postcards, calling cards, and other types of printed ephemera.

This scrapbook, compiled by John F. "Jack" Kennedy, documents his time at the Choate School in Wallingford, Connecticut, from 1933 to 1935. The front cover features the school seal stamped in gold. The title page reads, “The National Memory and Fellowship Book,” with a nameplate reading, “John F. Kennedy / West Wing - Choate School / Wallingford, Conn / 1933.” The first half of the scrapbook consists of pre-printed pages with space for signatures and messages from classmates, photographs and printed ephemera, and Jack’s notes on his academic and athletic endeavors, social activities, and daily life. Many of these pages are pre-printed with topical titles, including “Faculty and Campus,” “Student Hall of Fame,” “Comparative Athletic Record,” “Clubs and Societies,” “School and Social Functions,” “My Favorites,” “Entertainments, Lectures, Plays,” and “Memorable Trips.” Topical pages are followed by monthly dated calendar pages, some of which contain original handwritten entries in black and blue ink and pencil. The second half of the scrapbook consists of blank leaves that contain newspaper clippings; photographs; correspondence; printed ephemera, including invitations, tickets, membership cards, pamphlets, business cards, and programs; and other items pertaining to Jack’s education at Choate and his activities during that time. Of note are photographs of Jack and his classmates who formed the “Muckers” club, including Ross Edwards Allen; Roy Oliver “Bob” Beach, Jr.; Kirk LeMoyne “Lem” Billings; Paul J. “Boogie” Chase; Ralph D. “Rip” Horton; Charles Edward Marsh II; Irving Hudson Meehan, Jr.; John Whiting Morse; Charles “Butch” Schriber II; Maurice Arthur “Maure/Moe” Shea, Jr.; and James DeWitt “Smoky/Smokey” Wilde III. Also included are invitations to events at the White House; handwritten birthday messages in black and blue ink to Jack from his mother, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy, and older brother, Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr.; an autograph from the writer Gertrude Stein; a handwritten letter in black ink from star Harvard University football player Huntington Reed “Tack” Hardwick; a receipt for a $2.50 fine paid to the Palm Beach Police Department in Florida; autographed photographs from members of the Choate football team, including Gordon Thayer Barlow, Bob Beach, Hugh De Neufville “Bud” Wynne, Lem Billings, Irving Hudson Meehan, Jr., William Joseph “Bill” Albinger, and Moe Shea; and a postcard sent to Jack by his mother from aboard the S.S. Bremen. Also featured in photographs, clippings, and other materials in the scrapbook are Jack’s father, Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.; his sister, Kathleen Kennedy, and brother, Robert F. Kennedy; his grandfather, John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald; family friends, Edward E. Moore and Mary Moore; Choate School headmaster, George Clair St. John; English teacher, Harold L. Tinker; members of Choate yearbook (“The Brief”) committee, for which Jack was the Business Manager; and other classmates and friends, including Ruth Marian Quigley (later Moffett), Ruth Moffett (later Johnson), Olive Cawley, Thomas Morgan Schriber, Charles Nelson “Charlie” Hoyt, Adelaide Moffett, Gloria Baker, Eleanor Young, Katherine Barker, and Helen Barker. Locations pictured in photographs include the Choate School campus and the Kennedy family home and surrounding area in Palm Beach. The scrapbook contains a selection of loose materials that were enclosed in an envelope adhered to the inside back cover; many of these items pre- and post-date the scrapbook itself and represent dates from 1929 through 1950. Original handwritten entries, captions, and inscriptions are written in black and blue ink on many of the leaves. This scrapbook contains 88 newspaper clippings, 78 photographic prints, and 74 other items, including correspondence and printed ephemera.

This photograph album, compiled by Eunice Kennedy, documents events in the lives of the Kennedy family from 1927 to 1946. An original typed inscription taped to the inside front cover reads, "I should appreciate it if no one remove pictures from this book. If you do so, it will not be so interesting for other people. Personally, I should like to keep all the pictures to look at myself, because as you know we lost all the moving pictures of you children. Many of these pictures have been lost in the past, due to the clamor of newspapermen, so please do not remove any more. Thank you. Rose Kennedy." Those pictured in photographs include Eunice Kennedy; her parents, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy and Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.; her siblings, Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr., John F. “Jack” Kennedy, Rosemary Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy, Patricia “Pat” Kennedy, Robert F. “Bob” Kennedy, Jean Kennedy, and Edward M. “Ted” Kennedy; her grandparents, John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald and Mary Josephine Hannon Fitzgerald; and family friends, including Tom Killefer, former Boston Police Commissioner Joseph F. Of note are photographs of Joe, Jr., dressed in drag with his Harvard University football teammates; Rose, Jack, and Eunice in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Jack with his parents and grandparents on the night of his victory in the 1946 primary election for the Massachusetts 11th Congressional District; Joe, Jr., and Kathleen in Spain; the entire Kennedy family at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, and other locations during a trip to the French Riviera; and the family at their residence in Palm Beach, Florida. Original handwritten captions are written in blue ink on the leaves beneath some photographs. This photograph album contains 58 photographic prints.

The gold stamped title on the cover reads, “Photographs.” Photographs capture Rose and her family at their residences in Brookline, Massachusetts, and in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx, New York; at Malcolm Cottage, the home the family rented on Marchant Avenue in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts; at Craigville Beach in Centerville, Massachusetts; at the Toy Town Tavern resort in Winchendon, Massachusetts; and at other locations with family and friends. Also of note are photographs of the Kennedy children posing with a baby elephant at the Hippodrome Theatre in New York City; John F. “Jack” Kennedy dressed in a suit for his First Communion and later for his Confirmation; and Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr., and Rosemary Kennedy (sometimes referred to as “Rose” in original captions) dressed for their Confirmations. Other Kennedy family members and friends pictured in photographs include Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.; Kathleen "Kick" Kennedy (sometimes referred to as “Kak” in original captions); Eunice Kennedy; Patricia “Pat” Kennedy; Robert F. “Bobby/Bob” Kennedy; Joseph, Sr.’s father, Patrick Joseph Kennedy; Rose’s parents, John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald and Mary Josephine Hannon Fitzgerald; Rose’s sister, Agnes Fitzgerald; Rose’s niece, Marion Eunice Fitzgerald, and nephew, John F. “Jack” Fitzgerald (the children of her brother, Thomas A. This photograph album was first compiled by Rosemary Kennedy as a birthday gift for her sister, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, in 1929, with later photographs added by Kathleen. The gold stamped title on the cover reads, “Photographs.” An original handwritten inscription on the inside front cover reads, "Kathleen, From Rose happy birthday Feb. 1929," in white ink. Original captions are written in white ink and pencil in both Rosemary’s and Kathleen’s hand. Photographs document the family life, travels, and social activities of the Kennedy family from 1927 to 1936. In addition to Rosemary (referred to as “Rose” in original captions) and Kathleen, those pictured include their parents, Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy; their siblings, Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr., John F. "Jack" Kennedy, Eunice Kennedy, Patricia "Pat" Kennedy, Jean Kennedy, and Edward M. Other locations and historic sites featured in photographs include the White House and United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C.; the National Monument to the Forefathers and Plymouth Rock in Plymouth, Massachusetts; the Potomac River; and George Washington’s Mount Vernon estate in Virginia. Original handwritten inscriptions are written in blue ink and pencil on the versos of many photographs. This photograph album contains 154 photographic prints, two photographic postcards, and one contact print of a strip of four 35mm black and white negatives.
