In his speech the President discusses the important contributions of the Dulles family to the United States government, and explains how the building symbolizes the aspirations of the country in the 1950s and 1960s. Materials in this folder include various memoranda, a draft by Special Assistant to the President and speechwriter Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr., and a press copy of the speech, in addition to a program of the ceremony with handwritten notations by the President and letters to the President from Najeeb Halaby, Administrator for the Federal Aviation Agency.
