Of note is a letter to, and signed by, the President from Secretary of the Treasury Douglas Dillon concerning an amendment to the Railroad Retirement Act of 1937. Also included in this folder is a memorandum to the President and summary report by Senior Consultant to the Secretary of the Treasury Seymour E. Harris on the Brookings Institute study of the balance of payments, a statement by Co-Chairmen of the Business Committee for Tax Reduction in 1963 Stuart T. Saunders and Henry Ford II before the Senate Finance Committee, an excerpt from Dillon's statement before the Committee, and a copy of a speech by Dr. Raymond J. Saulnier titled, "Policies to Accompany Tax Reduction."
