In his speech the Senator discusses the role of the United Nations in diplomacy and foreign policy efforts to meet global challenges, and the need for United States cooperation with the U.N. to secure regions under communist influence, specifically the Middle East and India. Of note is a draft with notations by Senator Kennedy.
