Porcelain plates purchased in 1934 during President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s administration and manufactured by Lenox China. The plate on the left is a dinner plate and the one on the right is an entrée or fish plate. Both plates are adorned with 48 gilt stars, representing the states, within a blue border; and an inner border consisting of gilt roses and plumes and the presidential arms in enamel colors.
