This folder consists of correspondence between the office of President John F. Kennedy's secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, and individuals and organizations both known and unknown to the President. Materials are mainly expressions of and responses to public opinion. Of note is a copy of the offer the Ford Motor Company made to the United Auto Workers (UAW-CIO) during contract negotiations in Detroit, Michigan on 22 August 1961; and a Photostat copy of an original cartoon featuring President Kennedy by Paule Loring. This folder contains some foreign language material.

Crawford, Jr., on "The Role of Savings Banks in the War on Poverty"; a paper by Otto Eckstein on "Inflation, the Wage-Price Spiral, and Economic Growth"; information about a study on the impact of the European Economic Community (EEC) on other nations; sales and price data from Ford Motor Company as of March 1963; two papers by Robert Eisner, one on unemployment and the other on the investment tax credit; speech by John Exter on the U.S. balance of payments and the Atlantic community; a booklet of speeches by Walter B. Wriston and G. A. Costanzo of the First National City Bank of New York; and a newsletter from the Federal Statistics Users' Conference (August-September 1961).
