"Al" Simpson of Wyoming debate the likely re-unification of East Germany (German Democratic Republic) and West Germany (Federal Republic of Germany) following the fall of the Berlin Wall. They mention concerns about stability in the European community, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) commitment that allows U.S. military forces to be stationed in Germany. The episode aired on Monday, March 12, 1990, on the Mutual Broadcasting System.
