Kennedy's 1960 presidential campaign, including observations of other members of the campaign staff; the lead up to and working on RFK’s 1968 presidential campaign, including tensions between three different camps and Edward M. Kennedy’s role in the campaign; how RFK changed over the course of his 1968 campaign; and why Hackett thought RFK would have been an unpopular President, among other issues.

The largest portions of this collection cover Kennedy's Senate Years (1953-1960), and the 1960 Presidential Campaign.
