Also included in this folder are letters to President Kennedy from Don Emilio Donato del Carril resigning as Ambassador to the United States for Argentina and Dr. Roberto Alemann assuming the position vacated by del Carril. Also included in this folder is a report issued by the United States Information Agency’s Research and Reference Service titled, “The Economic and Political Climate of Opinion in Latin America and Attitudes Toward the Alliance for Progress.” The report includes the results of a public opinion survey in seven countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela.
