The photograph is accompanied by a short narrative that explains its significance. The Ford Motor Company delivered the car to the White House Secret Service staff for use by President John F. Kennedy. The attached caption is credited to "Lincoln-Mercury Division, Ford Motor Company, 3000 Schaefer Road, Dearborn, Michigan."
