This folder contains memoranda and telegrams regarding trips to Pakistan and Germany by Henry Kissinger, consultant to the National Security Council (NSC), and meetings between Kissinger, various Indian officials, and German officials including West German Minister of Defense Franz Josef Strauss. Topics of the meetings include disarmament, nuclear weapons, NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), and negotiations with the Soviet Union on the situation in Berlin and the possible unification of Germany.
