Kennedy's secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, concerning the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO) campaign to preserve culturally and historically significant monuments in present-day Egypt and Sudan, such as the Philae and Abu Simbel temples. Materials in this folder include newspaper articles, a copy of The UNESCO Courier, and memoranda from John A. Wilson, Executive Secretary of the United States National Committee for the Preservation of Nubian Monuments.
