Also included are press releases from the Democratic National Committee containing the speeches.

In his speech he discusses relations between the United States and Soviet Union and proposes foreign policy measures to assist in the fight against communism, including military preparedness and disarmament; security in Berlin; policy towards Red China; and foreign aid to India and underdeveloped and emerging nations in Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.
