Morrissey, and various persons both known and unknown to the Congressman. Materials are mainly expressions of and responses to public opinion regarding Latvian refugees in Boston, Massachusetts. Of note are appeals made by Representative Kennedy to President Harry S. Truman, the Department of Justice, and the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS); and correspondence between Mr. Morrissey and Mary W. Davis, Representative Kennedy's secretary in the Washington, D.C., congressional office, regarding legislation proposed by the Congressman to address the issue.
