The narrated program features excerpts from interviews with staff of the late President John F. Kennedy including Personal Secretary Evelyn Lincoln and Special Assistants Dave Powers, Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr., and Ted Sorensen. Some topics include personal memories of the 1960 presidential campaign, President Kennedy's White House routines, his view on the office of the presidency, his leadership qualities, his visit to West Berlin, his appeal, his back injury, his family life and relationship with his children (Caroline Kennedy and John F.
