Smathers of Florida. The typed caption attached to the verso of the photograph reads: "Vice President Johnson casts an apprehensive eye at President Kennedy who is keeping his eye on the foul ball. The President is centered between secretary Dillon (left) and Senator Smathers, D. Florida (on the right)."
