Of note is correspondence between the White House and civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr.

The folder also contains resolutions passed by the Alabama House of Representatives commending Governor George Wallace’s actions and a written statement by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. sent to religious leaders from a Birmingham jail.
