The recording continues from reel 1. Secretary Freeman concludes his commencement address. In the full address, Secretary Freeman discusses the pace of change in the world and the benefits of a positive approach in life. He also encourages graduates to pay in kind for services and benefits received by supporting education for others; by supporting equal opportunity for all Americans, a standard not yet met, particularly for African Americans; and by supporting the reduction of hunger and malnourishment in parts of the world. Among speakers following Secretary Freeman are: [Lucy Keker?], member of the Montgomery County Board of Education and James B. Williams, Principal of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.
