In his speech the President explains that the country's natural resources cannot be taken for granted and that conservation must be a cooperative effort carried out by both the government and private associations. The press copy includes remarks from New Mexico Senator Clinton P. Anderson and Dr. Ira Gabrielson, Chairman of the Citizens Committee on Natural Resources.
