This folder contains letters, memoranda, news clippings, and forms regarding the disposition of and potential uses for the former U.S. Naval Air Reserve Facility in Opa Locka, Florida, which was deemed surplus federal property. Correspondents include local citizens, elected officials, other government agencies, and commercial businesses. Items include an application from the Dade County Port Authority; a quitclaim deed for property sold to the Dade County Board of Public Instruction; a sale agreement with the United Auction Company; and advertising materials for the sale of "Golden Glades," the housing area of the property.
