Folder Description
This folder contains material pertaining to the Ad Hoc Committee on Federal Office Space, which was convened by President Kennedy to survey the government's immediate and long-term space needs and related problems. Items include a map of public buildings in the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C.; a copy of the committee's final Report to the President (June 1962); and a General Services Administration progress report on space management work as of September 1963. Note that some background material in this file dates back to 1950.
