This folder contains memoranda regarding United States policy directives for NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) including a nuclear defense force, and a summary report of the NATO Military Committee in Chiefs of Staff session. Also included in this folder is a report by Dean Acheson, former Secretary of State and advisor to President Kennedy, titled, “A Review of North Atlantic Problems for the Future.”
